JoJo's Pizza Kitchen in Brea a business with a heart...a business giving back to the community.
We recently enjoyed the giving spirit of JoJo's this week at a fund-raiser for little Katie G., a five year-old Leukemia patient. The Mom's Club of Brea organized and participated in this event on Katie's behalf. A portion of the proceeds from sales that day (lunch and dinner) went to the Katie G. family.
- JoJo's has been supportive of many in the community. This is from their own website:"JoJo's Pizza Kitchen proudly supports the community through fund-raisers, donations and sponsorships of local schools, athletic teams and other non-profit organizations. JoJo's has helped raise thousands of dollars through food concessions at school events and fund-raisers, Concerts in the Park, sporting event snack shacks and other special events."

Thank you to all for the outpouring of community support that day!
I think it's important to recognize those who give back to the community and to say thank you for doing so. I urge you to remember JoJo's Pizza Kitchen next time you're looking for a wonderful food experience. Thank you to the fine folks at JoJo's in Brea.
And the Brea Mom's Club is a wonderfully supportive organization, lending a helping hand in a time of need, thank you!

Lynda - Well, I have never been to Brea, nor to JoJo's, but this made me want to go. Sounds like a terrific place.

Marlene ~ Thank you so much and I agree with you about acknowledging those who contribute to others.
Jeff ~ Thanks for visiting, our little community has a small town feeling in many ways. It's hard to anywhere without seeing someone you know.
Kaye ~ Thanks for coming by, yes I love-em too. We've got a few good little ones here, probably just like MB.
Katrina,
You are soooooo right. And I love hearing from you because you are always so encouraging.
Lynda, I love the post and was happy to see that it was about people helping people. Beautiful. Katie G. is blessed.
Now, what's with the nose??
Hi Maggie,
You're right, it's heart warming to see how others lend a hand of support. The Mom's club is an exceptional group, they go out of the way to help in so many ways. As for the nose, no big deal, just having fun, not taking things seriously.
