Great market report, the three years gives a nice perspective on where the market is.
Hi Lynda, I think this year will see those numbers begin trending the other direction. Not by a huge swing but at the least things will stabilize and begin to change. I am guessing by the 2nd or 3rd quarter because I think the belief out there by consumers is that things are going to get better and people have a tendency to make their feelings a self fulling prophecy. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part but I actually believe it, :-)
Lynda--Brea sounds like a great place to live in CA. I have been to LA several times, but am not familiar with Brea. Like William I believe the market will keep getting better this year. In the meantime we will keep blogging and working hard to make things happen.
Hey James ~ thanks
William ~ My friend I agree with you myself.
Mary ~ Thank you, nice to hear from you.
Hi Lynda. Hope you're looking forward to productive week. I too have high hopes for 2012 and see so many markets beginning the upward climb - slow and steady.
I love when people post stats here on AR. That action really puts you in touch with reality in other locations. Your area is twice as much per sq. ft average than mine. Now that is amazing!
Debb ~ Thanks, I share your thoughts.
Trey ~ Our price per sq. foot must still seem high (although it's significently lower because of our decline) compared to some areas. Thanks for the comment.
Hi Lynda. I would have to agree with Trey about the price per square foot. But, it nice to see that your days on market were less in 2011 than other years mentioned.
Lynda, it is good to see market information from the specialist in Brea! You have solid data to show what the market is doing!
